A pool noodle is strongly associated with fun and enjoyment. It’s an item we associate with play within an environment of leisure. Therefore, this project aims to maintain those fun sensations in
art form within a contemporary art environment while also exploring sculpture fundamentals of material in mass. Three
separate works were created in addition to experimental figure paintings, each speaking to different aspects of sculptural principles and
interrupting the audience’s perception of Colour and The Noodle .
